Well Darlings,

In the age of the Emperor’s new clothes the child has finally spoken up. From out of the thronging masses of people, all eager not to look stupid in front of their neighbours, the words we needed to hear have at last rung out: “But he has nothing on!”

It’s time now that we all accepted the truth, the real truth and not that of some people with Read the rest of this entry

Many studies have proved that regular internet usage causes stress, anxiety and addiction. But don’t throw away your iPhone or laptop, as a new study suggests that internet actually brings happiness to your life.
British researchers from the U.K.’s Chartered Institute of IT or commonly known as BCS have discovered the correlation between Internet access and happiness. But according to their report published on May 12, 2010 some people tend to benefit more than others from the world of internet. Those who become happier by using internet usually belong to lower income groups, or are less qualified. People living in the developing countries also tend to be happier by using internet. Last but not the least, the correlation between access to internet and happiness is found to be higher in women than man, especially those who live in developing countries.
The study discovered than people with IT access feel nicer about their lives. The major factor can be the fact that access to the internet makes them feel as if they are more in control of their lives, and it kind of enhances their sense of freedom.
The researcher analyzed data collected from 35,000 people across the world from 2005-07. They examined happiness determining social and economic factors such as gender, age, income and education along with level of internet usage and access and discovered that Internet use inculcates sense of power in users by enhancing their feelings of security, personal freedom and influence.

What image comes to your mind when you think of a “millionaire?” Most of us stereotype them as ostentatious Wall Street banker type who travel in their private jets, buy latest cars and possess a lifestyle just like famous Donald Trump proud.

But actually, many of America’s modern millionaires are not what we imagine. They have houses in not-so-expensive or even middle-class neighborhoods, they work full-time like normal workers, and they go to discount stores in order to get cheap deals just like the rest of us.
Buying expensive stuff is not their aim. All they need is the freedom of making decision they desire. Wealth does not mean living in a palace and flying in a private jet. It means you can choose whatever school you want for your child, spend a vacation wherever you want and quit a job you don’t feel like doing.
An annual survey conducted by the Spectrem Wealth Study suggests that more American are living a good and wealthy life than ever before. The survey also found out that despite economic recession, the number of American millionaires increased by nearly 200% in the last ten year. the research also suggests that the rich are actually getting richer. The Forbes 400 list of the richest Americans included people with at least $1.3 billion or more net worth.

Unfortunately it does not work that way. And one of the biggest mistakes Read the rest of this entry

How has the credit crunch affected you?

We consider ourselves fairly lucky even though one of our two small shops has gone bust since the summer and the other one isn't far behind. At least we 're earning something even though we're not by any means paying the bills and are up to our ears in debt. How has it affected anyone else?

The first sign of problems is often a reduction in net profit while the last post, literally the last post is a severe cash flow deficiency. Sound accounting procedures should produce financial control information on stock levels, debtors and creditors and financial investment to provide early warning systems of impending cash flow problems.
